  • Q01

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO is about ranking on the search-engine results page. GEO is about being understood and described correctly by generative AI / answer-engine search. They aren't competitors — they layer.

  • Q02

Is GEO the same as AEO?

Yes. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) describe the same strategy — structuring a brand so AI engines can comprehend it and include it in answers.

  • Q03

Can you work on a site I already have?

Yes, and it's the usual case. We audit the existing structure first, then patch the parts that aren't ready for AI search.

  • Q04

Do I need to rebuild my site?

Not necessarily. We look at what's there, then prioritise the lightest set of changes that closes the gap — structural tweaks, FAQ additions, case-study templates, copy tightening.

  • Q05

What kinds of businesses fit best?

Brands where explanation quality and trust signals matter — clinics, local services, consulting-style services, professional services, branded e-commerce. Anything that needs the AI to describe "why us" accurately.

  • Q06

Will GEO immediately get me into AI answers?

We don't promise that. GEO doesn't guarantee inclusion — it organises the brand so AI engines CAN describe it accurately. How fast and how widely that translates into mentions depends on the industry and the starting state of the site.

  • Q07

Does it include blog / community work?

We can suggest a direction if needed, but we prioritise brand signals and information architecture over high-volume promo content. Actual scope gets defined during consultation.

  • Q08

Can I just engage once and be done?

Yes — that's how it's designed. Roughly 70% of GEO is one-time structural work that keeps paying off without monthly retainers. We hand off operating guides and inspection checklists so you can manage it yourself afterwards.

  • Q09

    How do follow-up checks work?

Run the /check tool yourself once a quarter to see changes. If you need faster tracking, GEO:lab Auto Pro ($299, one-off) includes 3-month automated monitoring + diff reports.

  • Q10

How long does an engagement take?

Depends on scope. Simple copy + structure tightening is shorter; a deeper IA pass is longer. We confirm timing after the initial audit.

  • Q11

We don't have a long case-study list — can we still engage?

What matters more than the number of cases is how precisely we read your current site and how clearly we propose the structural direction. Early on, that's exactly the point of the work.

  • Q12

Does this work for clinics, law offices, and other local services?

These are actually the highest-impact verticals. When a patient asks ChatGPT "best dermatologist near Gangnam Station" or someone searches "English-speaking divorce lawyer in Seocho", whether your business lands in the AI's top-three shortlist is the difference between a new inquiry and silence. MedicalBusiness / LegalService / LocalBusiness schema, plus locality + specialty FAQ blocks, are auto-included in the pack.

  • Q13

Do you cover ChatGPT, Perplexity, AND Google AI Overview?

All three. The measurement methodology differs — ChatGPT and Perplexity get sampled monthly with identical prompts to track citation rate, while Google AI Overview gets cross-referenced with Search Console impression data. The structural work (JSON-LD, entity profile, FAQ) is shared across all three engines, so a single engagement compounds across all of them.
